The goal of the innovative project is to develop a new generation Translation Memory technology and online CAT-system on the basis of this technology. The system will be productized as a cloud platform for translation automation. The product will be offered as an application for working with parallel texts via browser.
Translation Memory (TM) techology – is represented by various systems for storing and searching parallel texts (source-target). They are used to assist translator by re-using previously created tranlations.
The solution innovations:
1. Cloud modular architecture.
2. New approach to building the search index, taking into account language morphology when searching for fuzzy matches, which leads to more effective use of large TMs, reduces costs, increases speed and quality of translation.
3. Smart TM technology – a technology for automatic assembly of one or several fuzzy matches from TM, which has no analogues and allows one to increase sufficiently economic effect from using large and extra-large TM bases.
